Product Owner CIW (Customer Integration Workflow)

As a product owner, you make your mark on the energy system by working on new and innovative solutions every day. You lead a DevOps team that works closely together with other teams in System Operations to deliver reliable and high performing IT solutions. You determine the team's priorities to ensure that innovations become a reality within our organisation. You will make the energy grid smarter at Alliander.

The energy transition needs you as Product Owner CIW

You maximize the integration of new customer contracts at SO. You forge a clear product vision from stakeholder input and market developments, managing a tightly prioritized backlog for the DevOps team. You guarantee alignment within the ART through continuous communication. Simultaneously, you seek out functional and quality improvements for efficient capacity management, thereby stimulating innovation for grid reliability. We are creating the energy grid of the future, for everyone, with everyone. And as Product Owner CIW, you can play your part in this. Your role will involve:

• Developing, aligning, and communicating the product vision for CIW.
• Prioritizing the DevOps team's work via the product backlog.
• Translating requirements into clear backlog items for the team.
• Aligning dependencies with other teams and stakeholders within the ART, as well as with teams and stakeholders outside of the ART.
• Inspiring and motivating the team towards product goals.

You complete our network

You will be working at our Alliander business unit System Operations. Here you will share responsibility for managing and maintaining energy networks, like the electricity and gas grids. This is how we deliver energy to households, businesses and other clients.

Within System Operations, you will specifically lead the CIW DevOps team. CIW ensures that we can integrate and validate new customer contracts at SO in close collaboration with other business units of Alliander. CIW develops a flexible process that enables congestion management solutions to be validated and activated on the Liander network. This accelerates and simplifies the integration of new market participants and new market products for capacity management.

• A completed HBO/WO degree in a technical, business, or IT field.
• Minimum 2-5 years relevant work experience as a Product Owner or similar.
• Knowledge of or affinity with the Energy domain.
• Excellent communication and proven tactical stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive attitude with ability to identify and act on opportunities.

Attractive salary and benefits package

• Gross monthly salary of €5.103 to €7.291 (scale 10).
• Annually an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (full time) of your gross annual salary. This includes 5.2% ADV (shorter working hours) and 8% holiday allowance. You can have this budget paid out as extra salary or use it to purchase extra days off, for example. You choose the option that is right for you.
• 24.5 days’ holiday per year, which can be topped up generously from your IKB. It is also possible to swap 1 or 2 official public holidays under the collective labour agreement for public holidays of another culture or religion.
• An end-of-year bonus of 6% of your annual salary in December.
• A sustainable employability (SE) budget of €500 per year. Choose a payment for a sport or hobby, to make your home more sustainable or to reduce your student loan debt with DUO, for example. You decide how your budget is spent.
• A pension with ABP, especially for the government and education sector. We will pay a 70% share of your pension contribution.
