About Group Finance Operations
Group Finance Operations is a global staff unit focused on supporting the Finance & Control units worldwide with their needs regarding financial processes (e.g. accounting, reporting and cash management). Our ambition is to optimise these processes to ensure efficiency while meeting stakeholder objectives. We actively look for further improvements and optimisation of the end-to-end processes. This includes integration points with other processes, systems and organisational units.

We also support the further development of ERP and financial reporting systems within Atradius. These include Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, Oracle E-Business Suite Financials R12, Oracle Financial Accounting Hub, APRO, Basware, CXO and additional related financial tools used globally. Further, we are involved in projects as subject-matter experts to develop processes and systems. Another aspect is the co-ordination of financial systems change within the IT governance framework of Atradius. Our ambition is to be responsive to financial requirements, promote the harmonisation and optimisation of financial processes and systems and contribute to fulfilling the strategic objectives of the Finance organisation and Atradius as a whole.

Who we are looking for
You should have knowledge of accounting fundamentals (preferably consolidation) and some experience in working with accounting as a data set. You will have the opportunity to learn how systems work, connect to each other and work with a group of people with decades of collective experience to help you grow into the role. This is what you will be doing
Working with different finance groups to ensure that their reporting requirements are met, and that robust, sustainable processes are implemented to support those requirements on an ongoing basis. You will continuously review both systems and the processes surrounding those systems and implement improvements.

You will be involved in the design and implementation of any functional changes resulting from changes in Atradius’ reporting requirements including corporate actions, changes in legislation, new companies and changes in accounting policies.

What does this look like in concrete terms?

• Operational Management of Finance Systems: Managing functional changes to systems. Performing monthly tasks to ensure month end processes run smoothly.
• System Optimization: Continuously identify and implement system improvements to enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of the Hyperion HFM system.
• Reporting Enhancement: Work closely with financial analysts to improve reporting capabilities within Hyperion, enabling more insightful financial analysis and decision-making.
• User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using Hyperion and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Data Integration: Collaborate with data integration teams to ensure seamless data flows between the Hyperion system and other financial applications.

Do you recognize yourself in this?
You have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience with accounting or reporting systems
• Knowledge of the concepts surrounding financial consolidation principles, intercompany eliminations, and currency translation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and provide user support and training.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning and Essbase, Hyperion Tax Provisioning.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
