About the role

At Aquablu, sales is where strategy meets execution. And right now, we’re ready to level up.

We’re looking for a Sales Manager to lead and elevate our direct commercial motion, while actively exporting what works into our international partner ecosystem. This role sits right at the intersection of hands-on sales execution, coaching, enablement, and culture-building.

This is not a senior leadership role — and not a “just-managing-from-the-side” role either.

It’s a high-impact player-coach position for someone who loves being close to deals, people, and performance. Someone who enjoys driving deal velocity with their teams, coaching what good looks like, and building winning sales cultures — while working closely with RevOps and GTM leadership.

If you like being close to the action, setting the bar by example, and turning insights into momentum — you’ll feel right at home.

What you’ll be doing

Lead & execute direct sales (player-coach)

  • Coach and support 4–6 Account Executives in active deals

  • Join deal strategy, call prep/reviews, and closing moments

  • Set the bar for discovery, objection handling, and deal discipline

  • Act as escalation point for complex or high-value opportunities

Enable & evolve the BDR motion

  • Work closely with the BDR team on AI-supported outbound and pipeline generation

  • Review calls (e.g. via Gong) and translate insights into playbooks

  • Reinforce strong messaging, qualification standards, and behaviors

  • Build learning loops through feedback and enablement rituals

Drive enablement into the partner ecosystem

  • Translate direct sales learnings into partner-facing enablement

  • Run partner workshops, enablement sessions, and field initiatives

  • Support partners across key markets (e.g. UK, Nordics, DACH)

  • Strengthen relationships through on-the-ground moments like events and dinners

Connect sales execution with RevOps & GTM

  • Partner with RevOps to improve pipeline quality and forecasting

  • Feed deal and customer insights back into systems and tooling

  • Strengthen alignment across Sales, Marketing, Success, and leadership

About you

  • Experienced: You have 4–8 years of experience in B2B or B2C Sales, including hands-on sales leadership or coaching

  • Player-coach mindset: You’ve been a strong individual contributor and know how to transfer What Good Looks Like into playbooks and behaviors

  • Enablement-driven: You enjoy coaching, workshops, feedback loops, and helping others win

  • Comfortable with mixed motions: Direct sales, BDR-led outbound, AI-supported execution, and partner enablement don’t scare you

  • Curious & growth-oriented: You’re actively interested in AI-enabled sales, insight generation, and personal development

  • Culture carrier: You set standards by example

  • Flexible & hands-on: You thrive in a scale-up where things evolve fast and ownership matters
