As an Enterprise-level Architect Technology Layer, you will shape the bank’s technology strategy by defining enterprise-wide standards and principles that guide our infrastructure and technology platforms and you will monitor compliance. You’ll work in a dynamic environment where your expertise in cloud platforms and technology management drives innovation.

You will define and monitor enterprise-wide architecture standards for infrastructure and technology platforms, including cloud and on-premise landing zones, infrastructure rationalization, and platform modernization. Your work will directly influence the bank’s ability to scale securely and efficiently.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise-wide standards and principles for infrastructure and technology platforms, including the Technology Standards.
• Monitor and govern compliance with architecture standards, lead the Cloud Architecture Board, and ensure compliance and alignment with strategic goals.
• Advance infrastructure strategy by defining measures to monitor the quality of infrastructure components, setting quality benchmarks, and driving rationalization initiatives.

The architects of the Enterprise Architecture team are responsible for setting the overall architecture direction by formulating enterprise-wide standards and guidelines and monitor compliance. These architects work closely with colleagues from the various Architecture Domain teams. The Domain teams apply the enterprise-wide standards and guidelines in their specific areas and help guide the actual implementation. You’ll also work closely with fellow Enterprise Architects, members of the Cloud Architecture Board, infrastructure and platform architects, and the Engineering department - who are all involved in shaping and building the bank’s technology foundation.

You & your talent

• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business domains; speaking the language and understanding the world of both engineers and solution / business architects.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), infrastructure-as-code, automation, and service management (ITIL).
• Strategic Insight: Proven ability to assess and guide technology investments and drive platform modernization.
• Market Engagement: Experience building relationships with vendors, competitors, and consultancy firms to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Experience and education: Extensive experience in technology management and technology related leadership roles; science or engineering degree at university level.
