Fullstack Developer

Joining Hypersolid as a Fullstack Developer means taking a leading technical role in our development team. You’ll work closely with clients and act as the most technically forward-facing expert within projects. From scoping and development to deployment and optimization, you take ownership of the full stack, from infrastructure and backend systems to frontend integration when needed.

You’ll confidently dive into ongoing projects, quickly grasping what’s happening and addressing what needs attention. Programming is second nature to you—the language is merely a tool. You see the full picture: from hosting and infrastructure to databases, APIs, and frontend behavior. You’ll help set up and maintain infrastructure, monitor systems, and optimize performance from end to end.

You’ll participate in architectural discussions, define technical standards, and ensure alignment with existing competence guidelines. You won’t just write code—you’ll help shape how we build and deliver software.

Additional tasks

• Build and maintain scalable, cloud-native backend services and frontend integrations.
• Set up and optimize infrastructure in Azure.
• Handle monitoring, logging, and system reliability.
• Develop robust APIs and user-facing functionality for web and mobile applications.
• Join sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Perform and lead code reviews, ensuring technical quality and consistency.
• Stay ahead with emerging tools, platforms, and best practices.

We’re looking for a highly experienced, pragmatic Fullstack Developer with a strong sense of ownership and technical leadership. You thrive in fast-moving environments, switch easily between systems and interfaces, and never lose sight of the bigger picture. You understand systems holistically, from infrastructure and architecture to frontend performance and user interaction.

You enjoy writing clean, scalable logic across the stack, but know that excellent communication and transparent decision-making are just as important. You can challenge requirements, align with clients directly, and make tough calls based on real business needs. You’re confident guiding others, and committed to maintaining high technical standards.

As a person, you are:

• Deeply familiar with Azure environments and DevOps tooling.
• Skilled in containerization and microservices architecture.
• Able to understand and optimize hosting, infrastructure, database design, APIs, and frontend behavior.
• Capable of onboarding into any running project and quickly identifying and fixing issues.
• A strong communicator—both with clients and within your team.
• Driven by ownership, not afraid to take the lead.
• Curious and sharp, constantly exploring new tech and improving your craft.
• Able to follow and uphold technical standards within competence teams.

You’ll join a backend competence group with weekly meetings, regular code reviews, and deep dives into architecture. Requirements

• A completed bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, DevOps pipelines, infrastructure, and system monitoring.
• Proven experience with containerization and distributed systems.
• Confident understanding of whole system architecture (hosting, infra, DB, API, frontend).
• Able to align with and uphold competence-specific coding standards.
• Experience in direct client communication and requirement validation.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
