Senior Solution Architect

At Hypersolid, the Senior Solution Architect role focuses on presales and discovery. You lead early-phase client engagements, proposals, tenders, and discovery sessions. Once a solution is defined and a project is signed, architectural intent and documentation are handed over to the delivery teams, who take ownership of implementation.

The role includes leading and contributing to proposals, tenders, and discovery sessions, as well as advising on solution approaches, architectural choices, and trade-offs. By assessing existing applications, data, and infrastructure landscapes, realistic solution paths are identified, including modernization or migration where required.

You will be a key part in designing high-level architectures and explaining technical options to business stakeholders in a clear and accessible way. Architectural intent and constraints are translated into concrete designs and documentation that enable engineering teams to take over implementation after sign-off.

Typical solutions involve components such as:

• Front-end touchpoints and user-facing channels (web, mobile, device-based experiences)

• Source systems including CMS, DAM, OMS, CDP, and CRM platforms

• Integration layers and APIs connecting application and data landscapes (REST, event-driven messaging)

• Identity, access, and security controls across applications and platforms

• Cloud and platform services supporting scalability, reliability, and content delivery

• Observability and reliability components such as logging, monitoring, and alerting

What will you do?

You are comfortable operating in technical and client-facing presales contexts, including discovery workshops, pitches, and decision-making sessions. Communication comes naturally, whether working with engineers, facilitating workshops, or supporting senior stakeholders in pitch or decision-making settings.

An analytical mindset is essential. Problems are approached by first gaining a deep understanding through documentation, system analysis, and conversations with stakeholders across the client ecosystem. Solution designs are presented and defended clearly, translating technical architecture into compelling, understandable narratives that support discussions of impact, feasibility, and trade-offs.

Cultural fit matters. Collaboration, pragmatism, and leading through expertise rather than hierarchy are central to how work gets done at Hypersolid. A clear technical vision is combined with openness to discussion and a genuine interest in shaping better solutions together.

What do you bring with you?

• Experience as a Tech Lead or Architect

• A strong understanding of modern application architectures and point solutions (e.g. MACH principles, composable platforms)

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

• Experience with infrastructure, integrations, APIs, and common protocols

• Familiarity with architecture modelling, best practices, and data flows / data engineering concepts

• Bachelors’ level of working and thinking (or equivalent experience)

• Full professional proficiency in English; Dutch is a strong plus
