Background:
Professional & Scientific Relations Organization (PSR) is integrated within the Professional Oral Health (POH) team. The BNL Professional & Scientific Relations Manager is a high impact, high exposure role with external & internal responsibilities. As BNL PSR Manager, working within a multifunctional Professional Oral Health team, you will be responsible for educating the BNL scientific dental professional community which in turn will elevate usage and recommendations of our technologies & products. Your activities will be focused on 5 key pillars detailed below: Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Dental Associations, Dental Schools, Scientific Exchange and Scientific Training.
- Developing, maintaining and growing meaningful relationships & partnerships with BNL key opinion leaders
- Developing, maintaining and growing win-win partnerships with key BNL dental associations
- Managing scientific presentations and other educational events at dental schools
- Lead and deliver high level Scientific Exchange program (continue education, online webinars)
- Delivering scientific training for the BNL detailing force on company initiatives and message tracks
- Serving as primary source on the political, strategical and scientific developments occurring in the professional field in BNL
- Being the “dental expert” support for the Oral Care business in BNL, including close collaboration with local sales and marketing teams on support for claims discussions, external commercialization and synergies for joined business activities with key retail customers
- Lead, own, develop and be accountable for BNL PSR resources & activities (strategies, action plan, budget, CRM)

Candidate must feel confident to reach out to multiple stakeholders and yet then form his/her own lead idea and pursue a learning plan against aligned success criteria, always managing uncertainties.
- Strategic thinking: able to assemble information from different sources and make the necessary choices to win strategically in the local markets offline and online (Winning digitally is not an option anymore)

- Resilience: high level of self-imposed control and organization enabling to face large amount of Admin workload, internal processes and BNL specific Legal context, compliance being an absolute priority in this position

Job Qualifications
Required qualifications
- Degree in Dentistry, issued by a Dutch or Belgian university
- Experience as dentist in BNL
- Fluency in English and Dutch (French would be a real plus)
- MS Office proficiency
- Valid driver’s license
- Flexibility to travel 50% of the time within the Netherlands and Belgium, and less frequently abroad (European facilities)
Other beneficial qualifications
- PhD and/or specialty in Dentistry or Medicine
- Previous leadership role(s) in community health programs, professional marketing/external relations/detailing function in a dental or pharmaceutical business or broad experience in oral care
- Experience of working with associations, KOLs, scientific education
- Good understanding of BE/NL specific legal and regulatory contexts regarding dentistry
- Digital tools high sensitivity (Digital media, Social, CRM)
