Are you ready to make an impact in a global food processing organisation?

JBT Marel is looking for a proactive and analytical Master Scheduler to play a key role in our Supply Chain operations. This position sits at the heart of the order fulfilment process, ensuring that manufacturing resources are planned and managed effectively so customer orders are delivered on time.

This is an exciting opportunity for a structured and forward-thinking supply chain professional who enjoys working cross-functionally, influencing planning decisions, and driving continuous improvement in a complex, international manufacturing environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide a regular overview of planned versus available manufacturing capacity, including reporting on the impact to inventory levels, costs, and production output.
  • Estimate manufacturing hours and lead times required to execute confirmed orders, as well as supporting quotation activities when needed.
  • Prepare and implement flexibility options within the Supply Chain to meet demand in line with the Sales, Operations, and Resources Planning (SORP) process.
  • Work closely with Demand Planners on a daily basis to prioritise order execution and support on-time delivery performance.
  • Develop and manage planning bills, taking a leading role in defining and executing effective supply–demand strategies.
  • Analyse, define, and implement demand time fences within the Master Production Schedule.
  • Monitor the quality and availability of Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) data and forecasts.
  • Contribute to the design and rollout of new working methods and planning procedures aligned with the Supply Chain vision.
  • Support and execute outcomes from the monthly Sales, Operations, and Resources Planning cycle, providing capacity input and operational follow-up.

About You

You are a structured and decisive planning professional who enjoys taking ownership and driving results. You are comfortable analysing complex data, making informed decisions, and working across departments to balance demand, capacity, and delivery commitments.

You communicate clearly, adapt well to change, and thrive in environments where priorities evolve and collaboration is essential.

You’ll bring

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on available data.
  • A proactive mindset, taking ownership of actions, initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • The flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and respond effectively to new ideas and initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in resource planning, demand management, or production planning roles.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, DAX); APS and PLM exposure is an advantage.
  • Background in production control, planning, project management, or sales-related functions is beneficial.
  • APICS certification is preferred.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Experience working in multicultural, multidisciplinary international organisations is an advantage.

What’s in it for you

  • A central, impactful role within a global supply chain organisation.
  • The opportunity to influence manufacturing performance, delivery reliability, and planning excellence.
  • Close collaboration with Supply Chain leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to advanced planning processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Competitive salary and attractive employee benefits.
  • A company culture built on unity, innovation, and operational excellence.
