Compliance Specialist

As a Product Compliance & Quality Technical Specialist, you are responsible for making sure that the products manufactured and imported by vidaXL meet local market safety requirements and comply with regulations. Our products are sold in 5 continents and 30+ countries, so you stay up to date with changes in product legislation in different countries and areas and convert requirements into action points to ensure our products are always compliant. You are comfortable and professional in presenting or discussing cases with external authorities.

You will:

• Conduct investigations independently as well as collaboratively regarding product requirements and regulations from different countries, and make sure they are up to date.
• Ensure and monitor that a wide range of products are compliant.
• Identify, collect, and analyze product data that enable product compliance or quality-relevant decision-making.
• Communicate with teams from different locations in the world to make sure standard procedures are followed.
• Prepare approaches to implement the regulations within our organization.

You have:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in a technical field (Chemistry, Electronics, or other Engineering fields).
• Relevant experience such as in a certification company or testing lab is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Dutch – both written and verbal.
• Ability to analyze, summarize, and interpret technical requirements from standards, directives, or regulations into actionable working steps/processes.
• Good communication skills and the ability to participate in discussions with external authorities in writing or in person.
