Software Engineering Intern

As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new face to complement our Development team as a Software Engineering Intern. During the Software Engineering Internship, you will be part of a team of Software Engineers. You will participate in every stage of the Software Development Lifecycle, which includes activities such as: Software Requirement Engineering, Software Design, and Software Implementation in various formats. What this role looks like

As a Software Engineering Intern at Virtuagym, you will be an integral part of the development process, actively participating in refining product requirements and contributing to the design, implementation, and testing of technical solutions. You will be working alongside experienced engineers and senior members of the department who will guide and support your growth, providing you with the necessary tools and resources to achieve your personal development goals. Throughout your internship, you will gain hands-on experience in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of our software.

What you will bring to the team

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, STEM, or a related field
• Passionate about software engineering, coding, programming, architecture, and related disciplines
• Enrolled at an EU University and already living in the Netherlands
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and possessing a strong work ethic
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• Proactive, innovative, and full of new ideas
• Available for a full-time internship for a minimum of 5-6 months
• Huge plus: Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and/or PHP
