Data Domain & Metadata Modeler

NN Group is accelerating toward an AI-driven, fully digital, data-centric future—and we’re looking for a Data Domain & Meta Modeler to turn data into a strategic asset. As part of our new Data Management Office, you will design and manage our enterprise-wide data domain model, ensuring semantic consistency and enabling seamless collaboration between business and architecture.

You’ll collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into structured data models. By developing and maintaining meta models, you’ll define relationships between data elements and systems, supporting data governance and quality initiatives. Your work will enable effective data management and integration across platforms, making trusted data the foundation for performance, compliance, and AI adoption at scale.

What you are going to do

• Design and maintain data domain models to ensure consistency and alignment across the organization
• Develop and manage meta models that define relationships between data elements and systems
• Support the business with lineage and linkage expertise, providing guidance on data flows and relationships
• Act as blueprint owner and gatekeeper for the enterprise data marketplace, overseeing the metadata model and collaborating with stakeholders
• Oversee contextual discussions on definitions and business terms, acting as the authority for changes and alignment

• Salary between €5363,- and €7661,- depending on your knowledge and experience

• Strong analytical skills to assess and improve data quality across complex environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.
• Deep understanding of IT and data domains, including governance and compliance principles.
• Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to convey complex topics clearly.
• Proactive and results-driven mindset, focused on delivering reliable and consistent data.

The Data Management Office is a newly established team within NN Group IT, dedicated to driving data excellence across the entire organization. We are a diverse group of 9 professionals who collaborate closely with all business units, challenging and supporting them to achieve the highest standards in data governance and quality.
