The team comprises a group of experts in DevOps practices and Software Engineering Infrastructure. They support our engineers with monitoring solutions, compliancy tracking, Kubernetes support, CICD templates & pipelines, and various tools to make the life of our engineers easier. Never a dull moment!

What you are going to do

Your primary focus will be DevOps related tasks. Just to name a few things that are currently happening and could use your help: support our teams with implementing Suse Observability, help teams migrate from their existing Infra-as-Code solution to CDK, figure out how to get our last Gitlab users to adopt Azure DevOps, or collaborate with security to identify runtime vulnerabilities in Kubernetes running applications and get these addressed by the teams. The tech stack we use is primarily AWS with Typescript combined with Azure DevOps, although here and there we still have Python, Java, and Gitlab lingering.

Upcoming Challenges

Some of the solutions the PSS team created or supports are now comparable with managed solutions provided by our suppliers. We need to actively migrate & standardize our toolchain towards these to stay nimble. By doing so, we constantly have room in our team to seek out opportunities to get our customer-facing teams to go faster. Already getting inspired?

What we offer you

• Salary between €3,379 and €4,827 based on 40 hours/week, depending on your knowledge and experience. It’s also possible to work 36 or 38 hours per week

Who you are

You are a curious, eager-to-learn engineer who thrives in Agile environments and enjoys solving complex challenges. You also bring:

• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with operations of software applications (pipelines, observability, configuration management, compliance, etc.)
• Coding experience in any modern language
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2+)

Who you will work with

You are going to be part of a small team composed of two experienced software engineers and a Product Owner. By the nature of the centralized solutions we create for NN Bank, you will interact with many other colleagues in different departments, especially with other engineers and architects. All our tech departments are international, with English being the main language.
