Coty has put sustainability at the center of its company strategy as one of its six strategic pillars, with the ambition to become an industry leader in sustainability. The Sustainability Intern will be part of the sustainability office, responsible for accelerating this transformation. This team will help drive Coty’s Beauty That Lasts agenda across its three pillars: Beauty of our Planet, Product and People. This transformation effort includes defining new ways of working, building expertise in-house and accelerating our brands’ transformation. A once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of!

THE ROLE

The Sustainability Intern is part of the Sustainability Office and will play a crucial part in mapping out business partners’ own sustainability strategies and identifying overlaps where we can collaborate. They will also help coordinate sustainability events, such as the champions connects and face-to-face workshops with the entire Sustainability Champions community.

This position provides exposure to the fundamentals of the beauty industry, allowing for an understanding of the consumer goods business value chain. You'll enhance your awareness and expertise in sustainability matters within a business context, and there will be opportunities to learn about stakeholder management across various functions and countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the team with tasks related to annual sustainability reporting, audits, and sustainability-related questionnaires & assessments by external stakeholders (ESG ratings).
• Support issuing the monthly Sustainability Newsletter and monitor the latest sustainability-related developments in the beauty industry.
• Support the team in fulfilling Retailers Requests and drive efficiencies in the process through automation.

ARE YOU A COTY FIT?

• Currently in the final year of a master’s degree (MSc/MA) in a sustainability-related field.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Ability to conduct research and demonstrate comparison data in a simple, visual way.
• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact on the planet.
• Interest in working with external stakeholders.
