Your Challenge:

The Senior Consumer Marketing Manager – Portfolio ensures a winning global portfolio that maximizes penetration, premiumization, and category growth. The role defines portfolio architecture and orchestrates the global 3-year roadmap and sufficiency reviews, acting as the cross-category subject-matter expert on portfolio strategy. By aligning global innovation principles with regional and channel needs, this role ensures the portfolio is both consumer-relevant and commercially sufficient, enabling consistent growth and competitive advantage across markets.

Your role:

Portfolio Strategy

  • Lead development and articulation of Sonicare portfolio strategy (global and key regions).
  • Partner with R&D to develop and articulate product platform strategy, balancing feature/performance build-up, BOM, UI, and market needs.
  • Drive cross-portfolio product capability and enabler development (e.g., mature accessories, CMF, new product features, new services outside of range-specific projects).
  • Orchestrate portfolio architecture, defining the role of each category and tier linked to penetration and premiumization.
  • Ensure alignment of portfolio strategy with consumer insights, category and channel priorities, and long-term category growth ambitions.
  • Partner with the BPL Team on channel and mix strategies/targets.
  • Adapt strategies for region and channel, ensuring aligned views on global versus local/differentiated approaches.

Roadmap & Innovation Sufficiency

  • Define NPI, MLU, and CI principles and cadence (including accessories).
  • Lead the 3-year roadmap cadence versus region and ensure SPOR sufficiency, making sure the portfolio meets consumer and commercial needs across regions, channels, and price tiers.
  • Orchestrate sufficiency reviews across categories.

Cross-category Subject-Matter-Expert

  • Act as a global SME on portfolio strategy, advising business units and regions on cross-category initiatives.
  • Lead cross-category roadmap and initiatives (e.g., sustainability, claims).
  • Design, develop, and enable a winning Club channel 3-year plan.
  • Incorporate China L4G into the global innovation strategy and roadmap.

You're the right fit if:

  • You bring 8-10 years of relevant experience in consumer marketing, product marketing, portfolio management, and/or business management.
  • You have knowledge of the dynamics of marketing and brand management of consumer products/FMCG, including new product and category introductions.
  • You have a proven record of accomplishment with global consumer or retail brands and can work with multiple and diverse markets.
  • You possess strong analytical and communication skills.
  • You have excellent project management skills and broad interests that allow you to create multi-disciplinary environments that inspire and motivate others.
  • You are able to collaborate with local marketing and sales teams, and create networks within and outside the organization.
  • You hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields with an excellent academic track record.
