Introduction

The Reuse team within the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement sector at ASML is dedicated to ensuring that our sourcing clusters and 600 suppliers are aligned with our Reuse goals. We focus on sustainable practices and innovative solutions to drive efficiency and environmental responsibility in our procurement processes. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented intern who is able to analyze and interpret large data to gain insights in how to improve processes and how to improve lead times of ASML's reuse operations.

About the Internship

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with a focus on sustainability. You will be tasked with various functions including further developing dashboards and reporting to support the needs of reuse operations, providing new business insights based on large data analytics, and enhancing the team's SharePoint page to improve accessibility of critical information for the larger organization. With these activities you will gain a broad perspective on our team's operations.

Key Deliverables

  • Dashboarding and Reporting: Support the creation and management of dashboards and reports to track key metrics and performance indicators. Provide business insights based on supplier repair performance data.
  • SharePoint Management: Assist in redefining and maintaining the team's SharePoint page to ensure that information is up-to-date, easily accessible and contains relevant information for the target audience.
  • Team Learning: Engage with team members to understand the strategic sourcing and procurement processes, and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives.

Your Profile

To be a match with this internship, you:

  • Have at least finished a bachelor's program and are currently enrolled in another bachelor's or master's program in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field;
  • Have proven experience in creating and analyzing dashboards (experience with PowerBI or Spotfire is a plus);
  • Have strong affinity with environmental topics and supply chain management;
  • Have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Internship Details

  • This is an internship (non-thesis) for minimum 5 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days on-site).
  • The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.

Other Requirements

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
