Lead a global system engineering department driving innovation and quality for complex medical imaging platforms within Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Systems. As Director, you are part of the System Development Cluster (SDC), which is responsible for all system level activities related to IGT Systems.

Your role:

  • Lead the System Engineering Department and Competence, combined with Product Safety Risk Management for the entirety of IGT Systems.
  • Support the development and release of solutions for our Azurion and Allura platforms, including IGT products as well as 3rd party products.
  • Contribute to the definition of our solutions roadmap, for both new product introductions and life cycle management activities for the installed base.
  • Enable and support quality processes related to medical device development, risk management, post market surveillance, and more.
  • Actively maintain and advance our system engineering practices by driving transformations in Model Based System Engineering, Modularization of Subsystems, and Enhanced Reliability.
  • Ensure product quality and regulatory compliance, including front-room representation in audits.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a Master’s degree in engineering disciplines combined with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • You bring 5+ years of experience in a leadership role with a strong emphasis on people management.
  • You have strong experience in one of the following fields: Software, Mechatronics, or Physics.
  • You possess proven experience in systems architecture or systems engineering within the medical regulated industry.
  • You have an affinity for medical device standards and regulatory requirements.
  • You demonstrate exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to identify and interpret complex system interdependencies, translating them into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.
  • You have strong communication skills and experience in creating alignment among a broad variety of stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Experience in adoption of Model Based System Engineering and SysML modeling is a plus.
  • Experience in design for reliability and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
