You will work with our category management and procurement teams to meet all project needs, including vessel chartering, foundations fabrication and transport, subsea power cables manufacturing, Subsea Rock Installation, trenching services, and more.

We are open to a variety of profiles and backgrounds and are looking for technical, commercial, or contractual experienced professionals.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage mid-to-high complexity transactions with direct cost impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Legal, HSEQ and Planning.
  • Keep strategy and project procurement plan up to date.
  • Obtain quotes and conduct commercial evaluations, aiming to identify best economical solutions for relevant business needs.
  • Perform commercial analyses; normalise and evaluate bids received, incorporating technical evaluations from disciplines like Engineering, Planning, QHSE, Contracts/Legal, etc.
  • Conduct supplier negotiations and commercial evaluations.
  • Finalise the bid summary and make recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Finalise all subcontract documents for signature by authorised signatory.
  • Manage supplier relationships; schedule meetings with regular suppliers to manage expectations and align business interests.
  • Review supplier’s invoices and the final accounts.
  • Finalise subcontract close-out, obtain relevant documentation from suppliers and, where relevant, obtain as-built documentation.
  • Initiate and participate in supplier performance evaluations and populate lessons learned reports.
  • Work according to Seaway7 Business Management System and SCM tools.
  • Operate in accordance with Seaway7 Business Code of Conduct.
  • Safeguard compliance with company policies, objectives, environmental impact, safety and customer requirements.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Bachelor level degree in a technical, commercial or legal discipline (minimum requirement).
  • High degree of diligence during day-to-day business.
  • Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and solve problems effectively in various situations.
  • 5-7 years’ supply chain, package or supplier management experience, ideally in offshore or energy sectors.
  • Proficiency in ERP Systems (such as SAP, Ariba) and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel from time to time.
  • A resourceful individual who engages effectively with diverse groups.
