About the Role

CRH is recruiting for a Regional Category Manager - IT & Telecom to join the Procurement team. The Regional Category Manager ensures CRH sources IT and Telecom products and services at the best total cost of ownership. This role aligns procurement strategies with business objectives, drives supplier performance, and supports risk management while developing and implementing category strategies at a regional level. Key stakeholders in this role will be IT leadership, OpCo IT teams, Heads of Procurement, Finance, Legal & Compliance, and suppliers. There will be frequent travel across the region in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead regional IT & Telecom category management
  • Collaborate with IT, finance, and business stakeholders to align sourcing decisions
  • Implement strategies and execute sourcing initiatives including tenders, contract renewals, and negotiations
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance to deliver cost, quality, and innovation
  • Ensure compliance with procurement processes and contractual obligations
  • Drive savings, efficiency, and process improvements across the region

Experience & Education:

  • Degree in Business or Technical field; Master’s preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of (IT) procurement experience in an international setting. People management experience is a plus
  • Experience in managing IT category in a large complex multi-country organization
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
