Production Engineer Intern (Fill & Pack) – this is your challenge

As of February 2026, we have room for a Production Engineer intern at our Filling & Packing department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that add significant value at the core of our business – the production area.

You will collaborate with team members from various departments in a unique and multi-cultural environment, surrounded by different experiences and backgrounds. You will be able to connect with category and external support functions, creating a strong network across Nestlé as a global organization. As Production Engineer Intern (Fill & Pack) you have the following responsibilities:

• Identify root causes linked with unplanned stops, supported by the production area and Local Leadership Team;
• Identify losses linked with hard-to-reach places and cleaning routines;
• Update standards and routines, supported by the Local Leadership Team;
• Contact with category and global support functions for benchmarking.

As Production Engineer Intern (Fill & Pack) you report to the Fill & Pack Production Manager and you are part of the Fill & Pack department of Nestlé Netherlands.

What we are looking for in our Production Engineer Intern Fill & Pack:

• Master or bachelor student in Engineering or a related field;
• Experience with the following systems: MS Office (strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint), Power BI, and SAP;
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English;
• The skills to work independently as well as lead/participate on cross-functional teams;
• Passion and demonstrated ability to effectively lead projects in a structured way of working (e.g. TPM methodologies and lean tools).
