Your role

As R&D Engineer Welding you will join our welding development team, where you will bridge the gap between our experimental welding research and our production facilities on our fleet of state-of-the-art pipelay vessels. Together with our multi-disciplinary team you will strive to translate the latest developments into practical solutions which can withstand the harsh offshore environment and the most stringent standards required by our clients.

What we expect from you

• MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or similar;
• Familiarity with welding standards relevant to offshore construction;
• (Beneficial) IWE or equivalent certification;
• 0-4 years relevant experience;
• Strong analytical skills and technical insight;
• Creative and resilient mind-set;
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
