How do you make our customers happy?

Bigger is not always better, but scalability is a must for our platform. How can we continue to grow in an increasingly competitive market? Which new partners will make our proposition towards customers even better? Important ingredients for this are a broad, relevant and competitively priced range. And because approximately 60% of sales are generated by partners, we are fully committed to inspiring and engaging partners who add a distinctive and competitively priced assortment.

To achieve our ambitious price and product range targets, we select, approach and convince the top e-commerce players to do business on our platform. How do we ensure that these new partners settle in well at bol.com and understand how selling with us works? That’s up to you, because you are responsible for the onboarding process of strategic accounts, so that they immediately feel at home.

What will you be doing as Project Manager Onboarding International?

As Project Manager Onboarding, you will be the owner of the onboarding process that gives strategic partners a soft landing at bol. The goal is to enable these carefully selected partners to quickly start selling a relevant, high-quality product range with tight delivery times and a high level of service. This requires close coordination with the international New Business Development team, the team responsible for our ecosystem, and various other teams within bol. Furthermore, you will not only be responsible for one-on-one onboarding towards new partners but also play a significant role in onboarding new integrators and agencies that join our international ecosystem.

A part of the process begins as soon as your colleagues from the New Business Development team have finalized the deal. You then take over the baton and sprint with the partner to the finish line for the go-live. Throughout the onboarding process, you are the partner’s operational point of contact and you familiarize them with bol. You will guide new partners for a period of 2 to 4 months. Once you are done, the partner is handed over to an account management team, which ensures that our work continues to deliver value for the platform and our customers for years to come.

  • You supervise the onboarding process to ensure that partners can start doing business quickly and successfully.
  • You coordinate closely with colleagues in the team, plan onboarding processes for new key accounts and ensure that everyone is kept informed of progress.
  • You identify any bottlenecks in the onboarding process and resolve them.
  • You coordinate the onboarding process, both internally and externally, with partners and integrators.
  • You monitor the progress of the onboarding process and report on it.
  • You collect partner feedback and, together with the team, translate it into improvements.
  • You communicate fluently in English, both in writing and verbally.
