This Is What Your Role Looks Like

As a Marketing Cloud Specialist at Basic-Fit, you will operate close to the business and act as the bridge with our IT teams. You’ll be a key player in the creation and maintenance of member communication processes, including campaign optimization, customer journeys, and automation, always striving for the highest standards possible.

We use Salesforce Marketing Cloud to stay in touch with our growing international member base (almost 5 million members and counting) in 6 different languages. With your understanding of marketing automation, you will help scale CRM initiatives to increase the length of stay and lifetime value of our members. You’ll have access to extensive data, offering many opportunities for marketing automation, and you’ll have the responsibility and freedom to shape our processes in close collaboration with our IT team. Our ‘test and learn’ mentality means you’ll be able to develop yourself quickly and grow along with Basic-Fit.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the CRM strategy to serve our members in the right way.
• Educate business stakeholders about marketing automation possibilities.
• Work closely with departments like Customer Service, Finance, and Product to translate business requirements into automated journeys.
• Collaborate with IT and data intelligence teams to jointly develop solutions.
• Improve existing and unlock new channels for communication with our members, helping to increase the intelligence of our platform.
• Design and develop dynamic and personalized messages (email, app, SMS, WhatsApp) using AMPscript.
• Create and maintain customer journeys, triggered sends, and email templates within Marketing Cloud.
• Create audiences through SQL to ensure we only contact the right members.

Who Are You?

For this position, you’ll need to have a curious mindset and an entrepreneurial, can-do attitude. Additionally, we're looking for someone who is:

• Strong in both IT and marketing processes.
• Experienced as an email marketeer or marketing automation specialist (technical experience preferred).
• Proficient in Marketing Automation Software (ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
• Knowledgeable in programming; a solid understanding of SQL and JavaScript is a big plus.
• Experienced with Data Cloud and/or Salesforce Personalization (a pre).
• Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, positive environment while developing your own skills and interests.
