Responsibilities

The Process Engineer at Prysmian will be responsible for:

• Working in close cooperation with the cable design department, following design requirements, and defining the correct process parameters for respective lines to ensure product compliance.
• Monitoring and analyzing process data daily to ensure stable production and compliance with requirements, with emphasis on output and quality.
• Developing and maintaining production documents such as working instructions and methods for specific lines.
• Conducting thorough analysis of production data to continuously improve process parameters in terms of production capacity, compliance, and material efficiency.
• Developing and upgrading process capability, tooling, and machine performance for yield improvement, safety, cost, and productivity.
• Working on side projects such as energy consumption analysis and sustainability.
• Monitoring energy consumption of machines and proactively proposing technical solutions for improvement.
• Contributing to sustainability by assisting the R&D department with the qualification and industrialization of recycled materials and minimizing consumable usage in production.

Who are we looking for?

• MSc degree in Engineering
• Familiarity with HV cable constructions
• Proven experience in a similar position
• Proven knowledge of efficiency-enhancing principles/tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Highly self-motivated, with a keen, hands-on approach
• Fluent English
