What are you going to do?

As a HubSpot Developer, you will be part of the Growth & Automation Team. This team falls under Business Automation & Tooling (BAT) and is responsible for all HubSpot projects and their further development within Nedap. We support various Business Units with their implementations and ensure stable, smart connections with applications such as Zuora, Oneflow, Freshdesk and other tools that are widely used at Nedap.

In your role as HubSpot Developer, you will focus on technical development within this team. You will build HubSpot integrations with, for example, Crowdtech and Oneflow, develop landing pages, websites and email templates, and work on new functionalities such as a Chamber of Commerce integration for our data. You will also set up complex marketing and sales flows and be involved in setting up the technical side of Arrows.

The role of HubSpot Developer within this team is very diverse. One moment you will be working with a UX designer on a new landing page, and the next you will be automating a process for colleagues from one of our Business Units. In addition to HubSpot-related work, you may also be assigned to broader Business Automation & Tooling projects. BAT consists of three teams, and we regularly collaborate on multidisciplinary projects or take on projects that are supported by multiple teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Developing HubSpot apps: You build and maintain HubSpot apps for integrations and other functional issues.
  • HubSpot development: You develop landing pages, email templates and websites in HubSpot, and ensure high-quality, consistent implementations.
  • Full-stack work: You switch effortlessly between backend and frontend to realise functional solutions quickly and with high quality.
  • Independence: You work independently, but also know your way around the team and ask for help when needed.
  • Accuracy: You work in a structured manner, thoroughly test your own work and also carry out pull requests (PRs) for colleagues.
  • Collaboration: You work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders.
  • Innovation: You explore and implement new technologies that contribute to optimising processes within Business Automation & Tooling.

Your team

As a HubSpot Developer, you will work closely with the HubSpot specialists and Product Owner within your team, as well as with other teams within Business Automation & Tooling (BAT). The BAT team focuses on supporting colleagues with the right tools and automations, so they have more time to do what they do best. We automate business processes to increase scalability and reduce manual, repetitive work.

Within our team, we value a critical, constructive mindset. We expect you to contribute ideas about the best solutions for what is needed now, but also to look ahead to future situations. We believe it is important to be a good fit with the team and the rest of the organisation. You are able to understand colleagues, users and other stakeholders well and translate their needs into smart solutions.

We are looking for someone who wants to actively contribute ideas to achieve our goals, who is not afraid to experiment and who is willing to work together to find the best solution, step by step. You are willing to take responsibility for your choices and are open to learning and applying new technologies.

Our offer

As a HubSpot Developer at Nedap, you will make a valuable contribution to our goal: making people happier and more successful in their professional lives. The salary range for this role is between € 3.700 and € 5.500 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours) and depends on relevant knowledge and experience. In addition to your salary, you are entitled to a thirteenth month's salary, a good pension scheme, and profit sharing with the option of becoming a Nedap shareholder. For us, it's all about trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We also attach great importance to personal and professional growth. You will receive a comprehensive introduction and we encourage you to continue developing yourself.

Required experience and skills

As a HubSpot Developer, you will make a direct contribution to the success of business automation within Nedap. You are a team player with strong communication skills and know how to convey your ideas clearly. You have sharp analytical skills, are results-oriented and get energy from achieving common goals. You have a natural drive to support colleagues and make processes smarter and more efficient. You derive satisfaction from helping others and creating clarity and overview. With your technical knowledge and proactive attitude, you contribute to a smoothly running organisation.

In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

  • Experience: You have the necessary work experience as a Full-Stack developer. We are open to experience in various functional programming languages, as we are still discovering which language will be used for development (e.g. Vue, Python, Elixir and Kotlin).
  • Eagerness to learn and adaptability: You are willing to immerse yourself and develop your skills in various programming languages and tools, including Elixir, Vue and Zuora.
  • HubSpot experience is a big plus: Experience with and knowledge of HubSpot is a big plus.
  • Business processes: An interest in business processes such as support, finance, upselling/downselling, and the data lifecycle of our customers (from onboarding to offboarding).
  • Affinity for software architecture: Affinity with code quality, maintainability, dealing with extensibility and scale.
  • Git: You have experience using Git version control.
  • Language skills: You speak excellent English, and proficiency in Dutch is a plus.

Good to know: You are available for 32-38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap and together with your team you will arrange your own working hours for a good work-life balance. You are preferably present at our campus in Groenlo at least one time a week.
