Make your mark as Chief Engineer at one of the exceptional vessels of Boskalis!

We have one of the largest global fleets of state-of-the-art vessels, allowing us to carry out a broad range of dredging and offshore activities. The demand for these activities continues to grow, giving you the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects. Examples include one-of-a-kind dredging projects like the construction of the platform for the Manila International Airport (MIA) in the Philippines, or offshore projects such as the world's largest floating wind farm, Kincardine in the UK.

Your responsibilities as Chief Engineer:

• Ensuring a safe work environment for crew members in the engine room, understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Ensuring engine room and all technical installations are working efficiently and that planned maintenance activities are performed in an optimal and safe manner.
• Ensuring maintenance of engine room log and administration of data and documents in fleet maintenance systems.
• Maintaining inventory for spare parts and fuel and ensuring stock is at the agreed stock level.

Your qualities and experience

• A citizenship of Lithuania, Latvia, or Estonia.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an engineer officer on a multicat vessel.
• Expert knowledge of and experience with the operation of all technical installations on board.
• Valid STCW documents.
• A good command of written and spoken English.
• Valid seafarers medical certificate.
• Basic knowledge of and experience with the operation of technical installations on board.

Extra information

• Your team: You will work in various teams around the world.
• Where you will work: Boskalis operates worldwide. It depends on the project location where you will embark.
• Full/part-time job: The function of Chief Engineer is a full time job. Working schedule is 4 weeks on/off for the projects in Europe and 6 weeks on/off for the projects outside of Europe.
