About this role

The Sales Analytics and Data Science team within Global Sales Strategy and Operation is dedicated to supporting sales transformation and acceleration by building and scaling data products for improving sales performance, pipeline management, and growing the JET business. In this core contributor role, you will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and governing highly scalable and resilient data infrastructure and pipelines, focusing on our Agentic AI SalesForce Ecosystem and translating massive datasets (CRM, Partner Profile, Menu Assortment) into reliable, strategic sales metrics. You will collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and data analysts within the team and the broader data community, ensuring the integrity and timeliness of critical data pipelines.

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable data engineering solutions within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Build and maintain data flows and connectivity pipelines between Salesforce and JET’s data platform
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales Strategy and Operations, Data Science, and Engineering teams, prioritizing strategic outcomes and stakeholder value to achieve collective goals.
  • Champion architectural excellence and future-proof design, ensuring long-term maintainability, cost-effectiveness, and scalability across the data platform.
  • Mentor and elevate the technical capability of team members by promoting best practices and modern engineering principles
  • Translate complex business problems into robust, scalable data requirements and solutions
  • Lead collaboration with data scientists and data analysts to implement new methodological improvements to the current data mart and reporting in a scalable and future-proof manner.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Proven dedication to modern Data Engineering principles and tools (e.g., Airflow/DBT) and experience orchestrating complex workflows using tools like Google Vertex AI Pipelines
  • Leverage Advanced SQL and Python to transform, optimize, and analyze large datasets. Proficiency in data modelling
  • Strong application of engineering best practices across the product development lifecycle, including automated testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
  • Comfortable working with various technologies across the software and data engineering stack, including Airflow, DBT, Vertex AI, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Action
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native data warehousing and storage, specifically Google BigQuery (GBQ) and GCS/S3.
  • Demonstrable ability to produce high-quality engineering solutions free of technical debt, with a passion for maintaining high standards.
  • An excellent team player, capable of working collaboratively, communicating clearly, and providing/receiving feedback. Operating with high autonomy, driving end-to-end technical projects from conceptual design through to production deployment and long-term governance
