Are you passionate about technology, robotics, and sustainable agriculture? Join our mobile robot navigation team at Lely as an intern and help us design dynamic 3D simulation environments for realistic farm-related scenarios. This internship is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of software engineering, 3D simulation, and agricultural innovation directly contributing to the next generation of smart farming solutions.

During your internship, you will:

• Design and develop software modules that automatically generate 3D simulation scenarios.
• Create reusable templates and assets for farm environments (such as machinery, terrain, and weather).
• Ensure scenarios are flexible, scalable, and support various testing needs.
• Document the simulation setup and build tools for testers to run specific simulations.

Wat is jouw ervaring?

You are an enthusiastic student who enjoys solving complex challenges with creativity and precision. You have a strong interest in simulation, software development, and robotics, and you are eager to apply your knowledge to real-world agricultural innovation.

You bring:

• Enrollment in an HBO or WO program in Computer Science, Game Development, Robotics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with simulation engines (e.g. Unity, Unreal Engine, Gazebo, or Webots).
• Basic knowledge of 3D modelling and environment design.
• Programming skills in Python or C++.
• Interest in agricultural technology and software testing is a plus.
