Introduction
Join ASML’s Machine Conditioning Diagnostics team and help modernize critical software that ensures precision in our wafer stage systems. Our scanners rely on advanced encoders for sub-nanometer accuracy, but legacy tools make error detection and recovery challenging. Your work will transform these tools into a robust, maintainable Python-based solution, supporting ASML’s mission to push the boundaries of semiconductor technology.
Your assignment
You will reimplement a key diagnostics tool currently built in MATLAB and integrated into our internal platform. This modernization will improve maintainability, deployment, and integration with existing workflows.
This is a master’s thesis internship for minimum 6 months, minimum 4 days per week (2 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of February 2026.
