Join the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) Organization at ASML

You will join the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) organization at ASML, which ensures material availability, cost efficiency, and supplier performance for our factories and customers. Within SS&P, the MLP cluster manages suppliers that deliver key components for ASML’s advanced lithography machines. As inventory levels and complexity grow, the cluster is focusing on improving inventory visibility, efficiency, and collaboration across multiple functions (Planning & Delivery, Quality & Logistics, and Supplier Operations).

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work in a strategic, cross-functional project with direct impact on financial performance and supply chain efficiency. You will support the project Inventory Competence & Optimization Program, which aims to define and reduce inefficient stock, increase inventory transparency and strengthen cross-functional inventory management practices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing supplier inventory data (including reverse inventory).
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and preparing actionable insights.
  • Supporting KPI dashboard improvements and performance tracking.
  • Preparing summary reports and management presentations.
  • Collaborating closely with the MLP Inventory Lead and various stakeholders in Planning & Delivery, Quality & Logistics, and Supplier Operations.

This is a master (thesis or non-thesis) internship for a minimum of 6 months, at least 4 days per week (with at least 2 days on-site). The start date of this internship is January 2026.

Your Profile

  • Background in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a similar field.
  • Analytical, structured, and comfortable working with data in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Interested in business storytelling and able to work with PowerPoint.
  • Proactive mindset, curiosity to understand supply chain processes, and the ability to translate data into business insights are essential.
  • Clear communicator in English and enjoy collaborating in a dynamic, international environment.

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation explaining why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular.
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you are currently living or studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate.
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
