At TenneT, we seek professionals who contribute to the future of our energy grid. As a Systems Engineer within the Large Projects Offshore Netherlands – Project Management Office (LON-PMO), you’ll play a key role in embedding Systems Engineering (SE) into the daily work of internal stakeholders within the 2GW program. You’ll act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for SE within designated workstreams and help drive the adoption of SE practices across the organization. Ready to make an impact?

Your Role

How do you keep the Netherlands powered? As a Systems Engineer, you are responsible for integrating Systems Engineering into the daily operations of the 2GW program. You will:

  • Serve as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for Systems Engineering on behalf of the 2GW Program for the different workstreams.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with workstream leads, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with SE principles and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to workstreams in adhering to 2GW standards, methodologies, and processes.
  • Collaborate with requirement owners and stakeholders to validate and verify the correctness and completeness of requirements within the library.
  • Ensure that requirement owners have access to the necessary tools and resources to perform validations effectively.
  • Design, deploy, and manage servers, storage, and network infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Document system configurations and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across various workstreams and be part of a team of five Systems Engineers. The atmosphere is collaborative and focused on innovation, with a shared mission to embed SE as a standard across the program.

You’ll be part of the Information Management team within PMO, reporting to the Lead Information Management and working from our Arnhem Rijnpoort office. Together with four other Systems Engineers, you’ll support the transition to SE as a standard way of working.
