Marketing & Communication Intern

What will you do as a Marketing & Communication Intern?

• Assist in collecting, drafting and distributing internal communication materials (such as newsletters, emails, presentations, Intranet Posts, Office 365 live documents, flyers, surveys, giveaways);
• Work closely with our local stakeholders to support the development of our marketing and communication strategies;
• Make a pro-active contribution to the co-development of the MARCOM plans, marketing campaigns, the organization of events. Facilitating role in organizing events, such as Breakbulk Europe held in Rotterdam Ahoy in June next year;
• Be co-responsible for designing, delivering and evaluating campaigns. Both local and global campaigns;
• Assist in drafting and distributing external communications;
• Investigate the various possibilities of using the right communication channel (printed / digital) for each campaign;
• Internal communication of running campaigns to all of our internal local stakeholders;
• Our team's internal news magazine is part of your internship assignment. Creative input from your side and really setting this up, interviews and input is very welcome;
• Collaboration and coordination between different local and global departments to ensure that internal communication is consistent and effective;
• Gather constructive feedback to improve internal and external communication if necessary.

• In case of any questions or concerns, you dare to ask;
• Easily switches between different topics and executive tasks;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Creative, proactive, social and eager to learn;

• Good at translating more complex stories/ideas into understandable terms;
• You are well-organized and you have a can-do attitude while multitasking.
