For our maritime business projects, we continuously implement innovative improvements in our supporting processes. For our portfolio of strategic improvement projects, we are looking for a Senior Project Management Support Officer, preferably with experience in digital transformations and affinity with the maritime contracting industry.

YOUR IMPACT

As Senior Project Management Support Officer (internal projects), you are the right hand of the Project Manager or Program Manager. You'll ensure internal projects are executed seamlessly and efficiently by:

• Implementing the right tools and structures to support quality and operational flow
• Supporting project teams in delivering on time, within scope and budget
• Setting up and overseeing project planning, milestones, dependencies, and risk assessments
• Tracking deliverables and managing project documentation
• Analyzing and allocating resources and capacity effectively
• Driving progress reporting, and proactively co-identifying risks and issues
• Preparing communication to inform and engage stakeholders, project team, and steering committee
• Organizing relevant meetings and ensuring preparation follows best practices

ABOUT YOU

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project support within a Project Management environment
• Preferably a degree in engineering, finance, business administration or a related field (experience is more important)
• Proficient in Dutch and English
• Solid liaison for the Portfolio, Program & Project Manager, business stakeholders, the IT organization, and suppliers
• Certification such as PRINCE2, IPMA D or equivalent
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies
• Clear communicator, effective collaborator, and sharp problem solver
• Proven ability to bring structure, momentum, and governance to projects
• Experience in maritime contracting and the tender and project process is a plus
