Manager, Enterprise Strategy & Planning at DoorDash

About the Team

The Enterprise Strategy & Planning team is responsible for driving strategic initiatives for the Enterprise Partnerships team in partnership with cross-functional teams. Our goal is to drive efficient revenue and bottom-line growth for DoorDash with our largest partners across the Restaurants, New Verticals, and Ads businesses. Our primary focus is on North America, and we also collaborate with global teams across DoorDash.

About the Role

As a Manager in Enterprise Strategy & Planning, you will be a key strategic partner to leadership, responsible for shaping our business strategy and ensuring its operational success. You will be a key partner to the team, enabling us to go deeper on critical initiatives - such as organizational productivity and finding product-market fit for new bets - and scale our ability to take on additional high-value projects. This role is a blend of analytics, project management, and operational execution, helping to drive strategic impact and create a more effective operating cadence for the Enterprise organization. We expect this role to be hybrid, with some time in-office and some time remote.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Strategize: Propose, define, and lead end-to-end strategic initiatives (like new product commercialization) that you identify to drive long-term business impact.
  • Plan: Drive key business planning, from sales productivity planning to forecasting during bi-annual cycles to support sales team target setting.
  • Innovate: Oversee the scoping and implementation of new AI tools across all Enterprise segments. You'll work with sales teams to build automations, manage vendor pilots, and build/manage tracking of AI tool adoption.
  • Analyze: Lead and support building data-driven business cases for new initiatives.
  • Operate: Manage and coordinate key business cadences, including managing OKRs and running business reviews. You'll coordinate and update all data sources and help build new meeting content.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 5–7 years of experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, or as a general manager, ideally at a fast-paced tech company.
  • You are highly analytical, with proficiency in modeling in Google Sheets and comfortable pulling data in SQL.
  • You are a self-starter with a proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects in an ambiguous environment.
  • You excel at driving stakeholder alignment, managing executive-facing communication, and translating strategy into action.

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

DoorDash cares about you and your overall well-being. That’s why we offer a comprehensive benefits package to all regular employees, which includes a 401(k) plan with employer matching, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, wellness benefits, commuter benefits match, paid time off and paid sick leave in compliance with applicable laws (e.g. Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act). DoorDash also offers medical, dental, and vision benefits, 11 paid holidays, disability and basic life insurance, family-forming assistance, and a mental health program, among others.

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado: $136,000—$200,000 USD
