We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for our private banking and wealth management segment. You'll bring clarity, creativity, and commercial thinking to our positioning in this high-priority growth area. This role is about owning the strategic marketing for one of our most important customer segments, from crafting value propositions to enabling sales and driving demand. We need someone who can move fast and drive real momentum in the market with an AI-first, tool-savvy approach.

What you'll do

  • As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Private Banking & Wealth Management, you'll work closely with product, field, and growth marketing to shape how we tell the Backbase story. You will own the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for the segment. This is a global role where you'll collaborate with various teams to define a differentiated story for how Backbase serves this space and ensure all marketing activity is aligned with pipeline goals. We expect you to be a strategic thinker with a bias for action and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Own the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for the private banking and wealth management segment.
  • Collaborate with field marketing to shape ABM programs that address the unique needs of wealth-focused financial institutions.
  • Create foundational messaging and positioning tailored for private banking and wealth audiences.
  • Deliver enablement toolkits tailored to private banking and wealth, including battlecards, slides, and pitch narratives.
  • Work with reference marketing and alliances to spotlight customer success stories in the wealth domain.
  • Monitor competitive positioning and industry trends, and track campaign and content effectiveness.

Who you are

  • We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of private banking and wealth, ideally with experience working within a private bank or wealth platform. You have a proven ability to own a full go-to-market strategy, from messaging and content creation to enablement and demand support. You have an AI-first mindset and are fluent in using modern tools to accelerate execution and scale content. You are a strategic thinker with a bias for action and the ability to move quickly, and you have excellent storytelling skills to turn complex concepts into compelling narratives.
  • 7+ years of experience in product, solution, or field marketing, preferably in fintech, banking, or B2B SaaS.
  • Deep understanding of wealth management and private banking, including the needs of high-net-worth individuals.
  • Proven ability to own a full go-to-market strategy.
  • An AI-first mindset with fluency in using tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar to accelerate execution.
  • Excellent storytelling skills with a strong sense for how to turn technical or abstract concepts into compelling narratives.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
