We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Financial Services Accountant - Funds. Reporting to the Manager - Fund Services, this full-time and permanent position is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Fund Services and its growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of bookkeeping (e.g. accruals, interest calculations, sales entries, movements in investments according to Dutch GAAP and IFRS)
• Preparation and review of periodic reports
• Preparation and review of Financial Statements and assistance with statutory audits
• Preparation and review of Capital Account Statements and Net Asset Values (Investor reporting)
• Reading and understanding Fund documents such as Subscription documents, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements for existing and new funds
• Preparation and review of capital call and distribution notices
• Preparation and review of waterfall and equalization workings
• Coordinating and dealing with Fund investors to meet specific reporting requirements
• Reviewing investor requests and any ad hoc requests from clients
• Client contact and communication with our Centre of Excellence

Key requirements:

• Effective client-handling skills
• Strong prioritizing ability and organizational skills
• Analytical, meticulous, and systematic approach to work
• 3-5 years of experience in audit or accounting fields in the Venture Capital/Private Equity Fund industry; prior experience with another Fund Administrator or Fund Manager is preferred
• Sound knowledge of Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Adequate Excel skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent
