Are you interested in how organizations operate, the risks they face, and how companies can mitigate those risks? Would you like to deepen your knowledge in this area after completing your studies? You might be the Consultant Risk & Control we’re looking for! As a Consultant Risk & Control, you’ll help our clients tackle a wide range of risk management challenges.

You’ll become part of an ambitious, engaged, and diverse team. Most of your work will be done in teams on client assignments — sometimes at the client’s location, sometimes from our office, and there’s also flexibility to work from home. Our clients include corporates, public sector organizations, and financial institutions. You’ll receive broad training and be involved in a variety of sectors and assignments. Based on your academic background and interests, we’ll try to align your focus with specific types of clients.

As a junior consultant, you’ll contribute to projects throughout the entire lifecycle: from drafting proposals and project plans to kick-off meetings and execution. We understand that you might not know exactly what to do at first — that’s why you’ll work in teams and receive guidance and coaching from more experienced colleagues.

Examples of how you’ll support clients:

• Mapping business processes and converting them into visual flowcharts using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), with the goal of implementing a risk control framework;
• Developing, testing, implementing, and improving controls to establish effective internal risk management within an organization;
• Improving data quality and gaining control over it by identifying key data points and pinpointing where there are risks of incorrect data entry into systems;
• In all of this, we leverage technology (including GenAI) as much as possible to deliver smarter and more efficient solutions for our clients.

Once you join our team, you’ll also start with the PwC Associate Academy. This internal academy helps ambitious new professionals get a strong start at PwC. Together with other new colleagues from various business units, you’ll develop your consulting skills — and of course, there will be plenty of opportunities for social interaction. It’s a great way to start building your internal network at PwC!

As a junior consultant, you’ll also have the opportunity to gain international experience by working with our foreign teams on client assignments for a certain period.

Does this describe you?

• You’re eager to learn, want to deepen your knowledge of risk management, and aren’t afraid of a challenge;
• You’re curious about how digital developments can lead to innovative solutions for our clients;
• You’ve completed a university Master’s degree in a Business/IT-related field, Finance, or Accountancy;
• You’re fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
