As the pace of (Indirect) Tax Technology accelerates, the interaction between Digital & Tech (D&T) and Tax functions is closer than ever. We’re seeking a unique talent who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for the Indirect Tax domain—someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, technology, and tax innovation. Within the D&T Finance chapter, you will manage the end-to-end process view for the tax, legal, and e-invoicing domain, leading and streamlining new projects and squads responsible for delivering solutions in this area. Reporting to the Finance Chapter lead, you will fully support and coordinate multiple streams impacting the tax area.

Your Impact

• Lead the E2E process view for tax, legal, and e-invoicing domains, managing and streamlining projects and squads that deliver cutting-edge solutions in this space.
• Act as a product manager within the D&T Finance platform, coordinating the tax squad and ensuring seamless collaboration between D&T and business streams—especially where tax and legal domains converge.
• Drive future-focused projects as we embark on our S4-journey, supporting critical financial (data) aspects highly relevant for ITX/VAT, including e-invoicing and e-reporting.
• Serve as a SAP expert, recommending and implementing best-in-class solutions for projects and enhancements, with a strong focus on S4Hana and its impact on tax processes.
• Build bridges between technical expertise, support functions, and the evolving role of AI in shaping group tax functions.
• Foster close interaction with the Group Tax team and various business functions, ensuring that tax requirements are embedded in every digital finance initiative.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and manage VAT, e-invoicing, and e-reporting projects, ensuring compliance and optimization in a rapidly changing regulatory landscape.
• Act as a key advisor on tax legal changes, process optimizations, monitoring, and compliance.
• Champion the integration of tax technology into broader finance and IT strategies, supporting data-driven decision-making and future-proofing our tax landscape.
• Excel in communication and stakeholder management, working closely with senior business SMEs, technical teams, and support functions.

What You Bring

• Strong expertise and experience in SAP, with a focus on Finance and Tax (S4Hana expertise is a plus).
• Proven track record (15+ years) in SAP FICO, including deployment of SAP projects across multiple countries and understanding of MM/SD implications for tax solutions.
• Deep understanding of the Indirect Tax world and the ability to translate complex tax requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to deliver efficient SAP solutions and review technical aspects.
• Experience managing senior business SMEs and driving cross-functional collaboration.
• Passion for digital transformation, innovative management, and the future of AI in tax.
• Strong and effective communication skills, proactive mindset, and commitment to excellence in delivery.
