Sr. Software Design Engineer

Utilize your C++ software design engineering skills to the max to develop and enhance our portfolio of state-of-the-art 3-dimensional imaging applications to support interventional cardiac and vascular medical procedures (e.g., balloon angioplasty and stent placements) on the Philips Azurion image-guided therapy system.

Your role:

• Make a substantial contribution to the innovation of our clinical products by developing new clinical products and supporting platforms, using the latest software technologies and resources.
• Lead the hands-on design and development of major features that shape the clinical capabilities of our next-generation products.
• Become part of an extremely driven international cross-functional R&D team within the Image Guided Therapy Systems business unit. Your local team is based in Best (Eindhoven North), The Netherlands, and you will collaborate with other teams globally, making this a multidisciplinary international endeavor where flexibility is key.
• Collaborate in an open and informal way to drive exponential business growth at the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, and passion—delivering cutting-edge technologies that solve century-old health challenges with greater speed, higher quality, and better accuracy for individuals and families around the world.

You're the right fit if:

• You have obtained a MSc or PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field.
• You have 10+ years of experience developing software and at least 5 years of experience working with complex high-tech systems.
• You possess proven design and engineering skills in modern C++ in the area of application development, user experience, and/or 3D imaging on Windows, Mac, or Linux environments.
• You are experienced in AI-assisted software development practices.
• You are a self-starter, results-driven, work accurately, and are a team player striving for continuous improvement.
