The role

As a Data Engineer at Moonlit, you'll build the data layer that powers our platform used daily by lawyers, judges, and policymakers. Our users are at the highest levels and demand quality. You'll design and implement data pipelines and scalable infrastructure that directly impact how legal information is processed, enriched, and made accessible. We develop enterprise and governmental grade software.

What you will do

• Add new legal data sources and enrich existing datasets
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Databricks
• Optimize existing data pipelines for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with platform developers, business stakeholders, and UX professionals

Who are you?

• Student in the final year of academic program
• Strong Python skills with experience in PySpark and data processing
