About the Team

The Strategy & Operations Dasher & Logistics team is responsible for supporting DoorDash’s growth through ensuring fast and on time deliveries and the ability to grow and maintain a fleet of Dashers. Our Delivery Partnerships team is working on a new bet, Local Commerce Service Partner (LCSP) program, to ensure customers experience exceptional delivery experiences as DoorDash continues to grow.

The LCSP program enables DoorDash to partner with local entrepreneurs, who operate their own businesses to deliver orders and perform tasks through the DoorDash platform. An LCSP will offer full-time and part-time employment opportunities to the LCSP’s fleet of Delivery Associates.

About the Role

On the Delivery Partnerships team, you will dive into data to explain delivery quality performance at the lowest level of detail, devise high-impact strategies and work side-by-side with external teams to put those strategies into action.

As we scale the LCSP program, we’re looking to hire an Associate Manager to focus on the LCSP platform, delivery quality and partner success. In this role, you will be responsible for launching initiatives to deliver targeted volume, cost and quality business outcomes for the LCSP program.

  • Analyze - Build models to evaluate the costs and benefits of various LCSP initiatives and experiments
  • Strategize - Define recommendations that improve daily operations of LCSP program, leveraging a deep understanding of LCSP owners, Delivery Associates, and DoorDash business needs
  • Collaborate - Influence and engage across the company - partner cross-functionally with our Operations, Analytics, Merchant, Product, Engineering, and Insurance teams.
  • Experiment - Use data-driven decision making and sound business judgement to run tests to determine the best way to effectively grow the LCSP program

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Grow an impactful program within a high-growth business
  • Dive into data and obsess over the details to make sure we create value for our LCSP owners and Delivery Associates, as well as merchants and consumers.
  • Run experiments from hypothesis to final implementation to measure the effectiveness of new products and processes.
  • Generate insights from analyzing complex data sets that enable future LCSP program success
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional partners from Operations, Analytics, Product, Engineering, and Insurance to drive strategy and execution

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, tech, analytics, or business operations. High-growth or early-stage startup experience is a plus.
  • You are analytical. You are an expert at building models in Excel or Google Sheets. Knowledge of SQL is preferred but not required.
  • You are a data-driven decision maker. You use data to root cause problems and are comfortable executing A/B tests from start to finish to understand how initiatives impact business outcomes.
  • You’re a builder at heart: You approach challenges with curiosity and creativity, thrive in ambiguity, and aren’t afraid to question the status quo. You imagine, develop, and execute workstreams from inception to completion with little oversight.
  • You are an owner. You have a bias for action and are comfortable operating in ambiguous situations.
  • You’re an excellent communicator. You are able to share data insights and business recommendations with various stakeholders across the business to drive action and achieve big goals.
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; MBA preferred but not required.
