Keeping software documentation clear, structured, and up-to-date is a constant challenge, especially in complex systems with many stakeholders. Traditional documentation often falls short when it comes to maintaining alignment between teams and making onboarding smooth and efficient.
That’s where visual architecture modelling comes in.
Standardised techniques like the C4 model by Simon Brown offer a powerful way to visualise software systems at different levels of abstraction, from high-level overviews to low-level component design. This not only improves understanding across teams, but also ensures consistency and better communication throughout the development lifecycle.
Your Mission: Evaluate whether a visual modelling technique like C4 can improve our current software architecture documentation.
