As a Senior Software Test Designer for FORS Equipment within Image Guided Therapy (IGT) FORS, you’ll play a key role in advancing medtech and improving patient care.

FORS (Fiber Optic RealShape) is a groundbreaking technology that enables real-time 3D visualization of guidewires during complex vascular procedures, improving safety and reducing radiation exposure.

You’ll be part of the Software Development Team in Best, the Netherlands, responsible for the reconstruction software running on Windows IoT, which controls a trolley-based hardware system containing an acquisition box and reconstruction PC. You’ll ensure this software–hardware system meets the highest quality and reliability standards.

Your role:

  • Act as the primary software tester for the FORS reconstruction software team, owning the full verification process from planning and design to execution and reporting.
  • Execute integration and system-level tests for software that controls the acquisition and reconstruction hardware.
  • Develop and maintain verification plans, test cases, and documentation in compliance with regulated development processes.
  • Collaborate closely with software and hardware engineers to ensure full test coverage and design traceability.
  • Drive continuous improvements in test tools, verification methods, and documentation.

You’re the right fit if:

  • You hold a BSc/MSc in Software Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in integration testing and verification, preferably within a regulated industry (e.g. medical devices, automotive, or aerospace).
  • You hold a certification such as ISEB/ISTQB Foundation or TMap.
  • You can read and understand C#/.NET code to identify test cases and potential failure points.
  • You have an affinity for hands-on work involving both software and hardware in a test setup.
  • You have experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a background in software product development.
  • You are proactive, self-driven, and eager to take ownership, thriving in a dynamic venture environment.
