About this Position
This global role within Henkel Adhesive Technologies is responsible for shaping and executing strategic initiatives across Operations and Supply Chain, driving transformation, managing a portfolio of cross-functional projects, and supporting senior leadership in a complex, international manufacturing environment.
What you’ll do
- Manage development and implementation of the Henkel Adhesive Technologies global Operations and Supply Chain strategy. The scope of work includes 100+ plants and approximately 150,000 customers.
- Key focus for 2026+: Lead the global OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) program across all regions: manage the deployment roadmap, oversee technical implementation (including interfaces to Manufacturing Execution System, IoT and data & analytics platforms), ensure integration between the OEE tool, process framework and people capability building, and drive value creation.
- Manage development and implementation of global functional strategies, such as for Supply Chain, Digital Operations, Quality or Sustainability.
- Lead global change projects and transformational initiatives, including technology selection and global roll-out, functional transformations (design, skills assessment, process redesign), business case definition, change management, and upskilling.
- Manage and track progress of the global portfolio of projects, escalating issues as needed.
- Collaborate with senior management on all aspects of the organization’s Operations and Supply Chain policies and initiatives.
- Perform internal and external analyses of future scenarios to assess potential business developments.
- Gather outside-in input regarding best-in-class Operations and Supply Chain trends and developments.
What makes you a good fit
- Experience in defining strategies and implementing them; a consulting background is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations (e.g., performance tracking, root cause analysis, maintenance programs, Lean/IWS methodologies) is a must.
- Proven experience leading large-scale programs or transformations, ideally involving OEE, MES, or digital manufacturing systems.
- At least 6 years of working experience.
- Master’s degree required; technical background (automation, industrial or mechanical engineering) is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to build compelling storylines and presentations to facilitate senior management decision-making.
- Experience working with senior management, with the ability to successfully navigate complex stakeholder environments.
