Manager, Privacy and AI

We are seeking a Privacy and AI Manager to join us in Schiphol Rijk as a member of Liberty Global’s Corporate Affairs team. In this role, you will help develop and manage governance processes for privacy and AI, supporting our commitment to responsible data and technology management.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Actively engage and advise business stakeholders on end-to-end privacy processes, including:
  • Third Party Management: Monitoring third party privacy risk assessments and liaising with key stakeholders
  • GDPR Inventory: Organizing stakeholder engagement and ensuring proper management, including initiation, support, and review of inventory assessments
  • AI Inventory: Organizing stakeholder engagement and ensuring proper management, including initiation, support, and review of inventory assessments
• Provide awareness and training by developing privacy training materials, training stakeholder groups on privacy and AI, managing e-learning KPIs, and updating the privacy intranet space
• Provide Onetrust support and manage improvements, including managing and supporting end-to-end privacy processes in our Onetrust tool and generating reports
• Support Data Subject Rights processes by managing Data Subject deletion requests, updating the Data Subject request register, ensuring all other Data Subject Requests are addressed, and managing the Privacy inbox
• Support the dissemination of best practices across the Corporate Affairs team

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Preferred education/qualifications:

• Relevant Master’s degree
• Privacy and AI certification (e.g. IAPP CIPM, CIPT, IAGP)

Knowledge & Experience:

• Relevant years of professional experience
• Good knowledge of GDPR, AI Act, ePrivacy Directive, and national data protection, privacy, and telecoms laws and practices
• Appreciation of the technology behind Liberty Global’s products and services, and the policy issues that technology drives
• Understanding of the commercial, legal, and political context in which Liberty Global operates

Skills & Abilities:

• Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to work daily in English
• Timely communication regarding progress on key items before deadlines slip
• Excellent commercial understanding of Liberty Global’s business
• Ability to thrive in an environment with a high degree of task and role ambiguity
• Excellent ambassadorial and persuasion skills
• Highly developed writing, presentation, and workshop skills
• Ability to work in other European languages is an advantage
• Excellent research skills
• Experience with the Onetrust privacy tool
• Project management skills involving challenging deadlines
• Comfortable working in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
• Good prioritization skills
• Results-driven, detail-oriented, and highly organized
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Ability to work effectively in teams
• Self-confidence combined with openness to learning and applying new skills and concepts
