Why this role exists

We are seeking a Technical AI Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation in our AI-driven environment. This role combines analytical expertise with hands-on technical skills to analyze customer data, optimize LLM prompts, and ensure data integrity across our connected systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Debugging
  • Analyze customer data, patterns and behaviors using MongoDB queries
  • Debug data inconsistencies and identify root causes of data quality issues
  • Create comprehensive reports on customer metrics and system performance
  • Monitor and analyze LLM prompt effectiveness and response quality
• Technical Implementation
  • Design and execute complex NoSQL database queries for data extraction and analysis
  • Integrate with various internal and 3rd-party APIs to collect, validate, and synchronize data
  • Develop automated data validation and monitoring processes
  • Collaborate with development teams on data architecture and generic transformation improvements
• Financial Data Management
  • Analyze customer accounting data for accuracy
  • Identify gaps and/or data quality issues in financial data across multiple product features
  • Create meaningful financial reports and dashboards for customers
  • Ensure proper generic transformation of categorization and tracking of cost- and revenue streams of our customers
• AI & Prompt Engineering
  • Evaluate and optimize LLM prompt performance
  • Analyze conversation flows and user interaction patterns
  • Identify and help implement A/B testing frameworks for prompt optimization
  • Document best practices for AI model interactions

Job Requirements

Technical Skills

• Database Management: Advanced proficiency in MongoDB queries, aggregation pipelines, and indexing strategies
• API Integration: Experience with RESTful APIs, authentication protocols, and data synchronization
• Programming: Strong TypeScript skills for data processing and automation scripts
• Data Analysis: Proficiency in data visualization tools and statistical analysis methods

Business Background

• Financial/Accounting Experience: 3+ years in accounting, finance, or related field
• Business Analysis: Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Process Improvement: Track record of identifying and implementing operational efficiencies

AI & Technology

• Understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations
• Experience with prompt engineering and AI model evaluation, especially combined with financial data
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, data preprocessing, and generalisation of customer-specific data streams

Technical Environment

• Databases: MongoDB, potential exposure to other (No-)SQL solutions
• Languages: TypeScript, Python
• Tools: API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia), data visualization platforms
• Platforms: Cloud-native infrastructure, containerized applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with self-hosted cloud platforms (Rancher, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks
• Previous experience in fintech or AI-driven companies
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git), agile methodologies, KISS and DRY principles
