The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, from coordinating stakeholder engagement and tracking legislative and regulatory developments, to preparing internal briefings, organizing policy events, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and executional excellence will be key to thriving in this role.

About the job

  • Support the team’s strategic efforts by gathering relevant insights and input from cross-functional partners across the business.
  • Manage the calendar of key deadlines, external consultations, policy events, and internal deliverables to ensure timely execution and alignment across the team.
  • Monitor and proactively flag regulatory, legal, and market developments that may affect the team’s priorities, goals, or positioning.
  • Organize and maintain structured trackers of legislative developments, stakeholder engagements, and emerging issues.
  • Provide research, analytical, and drafting support on memos, talking points, policy papers, or briefing materials as needed.
  • Create and format clear, engaging internal updates to inform and align broader business teams on policy developments and strategic initiatives.
  • Support meeting preparation and follow-up, including agenda setting, notetaking, and action tracking.
  • Help coordinate external engagements, including conferences, roundtables, stakeholder meetings, and speaking opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. communications, public policy, political science, international relations, law).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in communications, consulting, law, policy, or the entertainment/media industry.
  • Proven ability to support cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and coordinate complex workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting clear internal updates or briefings.
  • Strong organizational and operational skills, including experience managing trackers, deadlines, and process improvements.
  • Able to anticipate issues, work independently, and contribute proactively to team strategy.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with both detail-heavy and big-picture tasks.
  • Flexible and eager to support a wide range of projects, even outside your core expertise.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
