Introduction to the job

We are looking for a Logistics Process Engineer to support one of our logistic departments with continuous improvement initiatives. You will analyze logistic processes and implement or standardize solutions while involving colleagues on the work floor. Although this is not an IT role, familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), especially SAP EWM, would be beneficial. We are especially interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience with improvement initiatives in a logistics environment.

Role and responsibilities

As a Process Engineer you are responsible for:

  • Supporting or leading improvement projects
  • Contributing to cross-sector projects
  • Identifying bottlenecks in the process
  • Performing root cause analyses
  • Coaching the team on a daily basis
  • Creating reports and dashboards
  • Analyzing performance and presenting results

Education and experience

As a Process Engineer you will need:

  • Bachelor or Master in business engineering, business administration, industrial engineering, operational management, or logistics
  • Warehouse and logistics knowledge
  • Supply chain knowledge
  • Experience with Lean methods
  • Experience with SAP Modules
  • Project management is a plus

  • Work will partially be done in cleanroom (wearing cleanroom suit)

Compensation

For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 65,000 euro and 74,000 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. Company profit sharing and shift allowance (if applicable) are not included in this range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members. Additional requirements

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
