SRM and Data & Analytics (D&A) are at the heart of the new Pet Nutrition 5+5 Strategy and are a key enabler to drive sustainable growth for Mars Pet Nutrition (“Fuel our Growth” – SRM & “Digitize the Core & Growth” – D&A).

The role is about:

  • Driving implementation and deployment of SRM Advanced Analytics capabilities. Act as a link between business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing Strategy & Deployment/MS&D), internal D&A teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Defining a 3-year SRM D&A roadmap, with support from the Global/D&A Team.
  • Driving adoption of existing and new tools among the Sales/MS&D community.
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis to generate insights and recommendations. This role offers high visibility within the organization, interacting with key stakeholders (local, regional, global, external) across various functions (Sales, MS&D, D&A). The position is part of the PN FR MS&D team.

What are we looking for?

  • Master’s degree from a business, statistics, or IT school, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Specialization in data & analytics is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written); knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
  • Good understanding of the CPG/Retail business.
  • Good understanding of SRM levers and KPIs.
  • Good understanding of internal (1CPL, TPM) and external (Nielsen, Panel data) data. Experience as a product owner and working with data is a plus.
  • Knowledge of MS analytical suite (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Ability to challenge data & analytics.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Pilot, design, develop, and implement advanced analytical solutions to drive value-accretive growth.
  • Collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into analytical product requirements (e.g., through design thinking sessions).
  • Engage local Sales and MS&D teams to maximize tool usage and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with regional, global, and external stakeholders to communicate local business needs and define product design.
  • Bring SRM and market expertise into product design and development, ensuring market needs are reflected in global products.
  • Define the product implementation roadmap in collaboration with key internal stakeholders (local, regional, global/business & D&A).
  • Understand the data ecosystem and work with an automation and efficiency mindset.
  • Drive in-market product deployment through training, sharing best practices, and product improvements, always with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Stay informed on new product deployments by connecting with peers from other markets and external vendors.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to solve business questions using your unique business, data, and analytics knowledge, in close collaboration with the internal MS&D/Sales team.
  • Perform ad hoc analytics to generate insights and drive recommendations for the business.
