THE ROLE
The Product Developer is responsible for working closely together with the Design and Merchandising departments to develop products that deliver according to the quality, aesthetic, and gross margin targets of the division within the given time frame. You will take a lead in the sourcing of new materials and are aware of the latest trends and innovations of your product category. You are well-organized. You build strong relationships with your vendors/suppliers and together with them you secure the best product in time. You will be an equal partner to design to realize their designs, support them on technical feedback and offer them newness in techniques. When a review meeting is organized, you secure the availability of samples and costs. You report directly into the Director Development & Production Accessories.
