Driven by our purpose to safeguard life, property, and the environment, we empower our customers and their stakeholders with facts and reliable insights so that critical decisions can be made with confidence. As a trusted voice for many of the world’s most successful organizations, we use our knowledge to advance safety and performance, set industry benchmarks, and inspire and invent solutions to tackle global transformations.

About Energy Systems

We help customers navigate the complex transition to a decarbonized and more sustainable energy future. We do this by assuring that energy systems work safely and effectively, using solutions that are increasingly digital. We also help industries and governments to navigate the many complex, interrelated transitions taking place globally and regionally, in the energy industry.

Within our Smart Cable Guard Team (SCG) we are looking for a versatile Software Developer to strengthen our team in Arnhem.

Smart Cable Guard is an innovative online multi-functional monitoring system for medium-voltage (MV) power cable networks. The system has two unique functions: detect and locate weak spots (before they result in a fault causing a power outage) and detect and locate faults in underground power cables. The automated system immediately gives a warning when problems arise. Most of SCG software is offered as a SaaS solution through multiple data centers for customers worldwide.

Are you passionate about IoT devices, software solutions and want to join a team working closely with grid utilities and wind farm owners & operators in improving the resilience and reliability of their grids? This will be the job for you.

  • Generate and evaluate metrics for debugging, monitoring, enhancement and management of the embedded software and back-end software.
  • Clarify and fine-tune requirements and understand customer needs together with Product Owner/Domain specialist and recommend appropriate solutions.

A challenging and varied job in a dynamic and international environment. You will be part of a professional team of committed colleagues and have plenty of opportunities for personal growth.
